Breast Cancer - The Real Story

Posted by Annonymous Bradley Team Member on Oct 26, 2017 12:13:21 PM

When we think about breast cancer, we often conjure up images of women over the age of 50 with bald heads.  We also think about 5k walks, pink ribbons, charity fund raisers, and t-shirts with funny printed sayings. What we sometimes fail to think about are all the other people affected by this disease.

Breast Cancer - Awakenings From a Friend

Posted by Shawn Broida-McColl on Oct 26, 2017 12:12:44 PM

I would like to share the story of my good friend who is in the midst of her fight and just posted a very raw update to create awareness this month in honor of October being BC awareness month.  She is  one of the reasons I’m passionate about this fight for a cure. I replied, “Promotional Products/Corporate Branding.” His response to this was, “Oh, you mean trinkets and trash?” I was stunned! I thought that reputation title was history!

Forty years ago, when I started in this industry, the industry had been labeled “trinkets and trash,” along with other names. At that time, it didn’t bother me as much. However, the promotional marketing industry has changed so dramatically, that it blows my mind how far we’ve come.

This industry has taught me that Promotional Products are an integral part of a company’s overall marketing plan and is a solution. These solutions can provide unique and lasting brand impressions that far outlast many conventional advertising mediums.
